In a world that constantly demands more from us, we often find ourselves trapped in a bubble of social pressure, where time feels rigid and restrictive. "Space to Time" explores the struggle between holding on and letting go, and the journey of repeatedly losing and rediscovering oneself. It is a dance of conflict and acceptance, a continuous rise and fall between being lost and finding a way back.
Valeria Marangelli about her time at Residenzzentrum tanz+:
Creating at Residenz Zentrum Tanz has been an inspiring experience so far. Being immersed in nature and having such a big space at our disposal opened my mind to so many creative possibilities! I look forward to sharing our little world with the audience soon at the showing!

We are excited to present the current project "Off Blue" by Swiss choreographer and dancer Laetitia Kohler. "Off Blue" (working title) is a research process involving four dancers: Anja Neukomm, Christian Senatore, Laetitia Kohler, and Marianne Reynaudi.
The "Off Blue" team is working intensively at the Residenzzentrum's studios in the coming weeks to refine the concept, define the characters, and develop new scenes and choreographic systems. They approach the question with lightness, poetry, and humor: How do we interact in stressful situations, and how do contact and exchange unfold?

Showcase: Jochen Heckmann at the Aargauer Kunsthaus
For Jochen Heckmann, dance is something existential, true and unique. When he dances, he dives into his innermost being, illuminates shallows there, encounters what was thought to be lost, unravels the unexpected. These particles pave their way and push their way to the surface, which one can hardly resist. At the Aargauer Kunsthaus, Jochen Heckmann will provide an insight into the first results of this creative phase. A collage-like presentation of results, insights, prospects and ideas:

Showcase im Aargauer Kunsthaus
Yesterday, Choreographer Terence Kohler gave an exclusive insight into his work. During his residency at Residenzzentrum tanz+ he is working with dancers to consciously reinterpret the step material of classical ballet with contemporary expression. A 10-metre-long ballet barre that he set up in our studio for rehearsals serves as a fixed point for the choreography. He is particularly interested in the possibilities that open up when moving bodies meet a stable object, with the help of which they can explore gravity and manipulate their own axes in extreme ways.
In the Aargauer Kunsthaus, the banister was used as a ballet barre for the showcase. Four professional dancers showed insights into the current research:
- Ann-Kathrin Adam, Ballett der Oper Graz
- Lucie Horna, Ballett der Oper Graz
- Doris Becker, Deutsche Oper am Rhein
- Pablo Martinez, Staatsballett Berlin

He has created new works for the Royal Ballet of Flanders, Hong Kong Ballet, West Australian Ballet, National Ballet Company of China and Finnish National Ballet. Showcase Marco Rizzi
Marco Rizzi creates a performance installation that expresses the individual attempt to become an efficient and productive body, driven by the need for performance. The performer presents a journey through mind and body, showing how our bodies are connected to the use of touch screens.
This solo with Cecilia Castellari is the first result of research inspired by studies, books, conversations and an online survey, aiming to shed light on the ability to multitask and its impact on our lives. SCREENS - A Portrait of a Busy Mind was developed at POOL - Raum für Kultur in St.Gallen (CH) and now at Residenzzentrum tanz+ in Baden (CH).
With this creation, he wants to raise awareness of multitasking and the use of touchscreens, as well as reflect on our habits.

Gaia Magrané and Michèle Benz love experiments. Take the opportunity to gain exclusive insights into their creative process on 21 November at 11:00 am at ThiK - Theater im Kornhaus Baden. After the short presentation, a discussion with the dancers in a relaxed atmosphere in the auditorium will follow.
